L’Aiaccia is a luxury 5 bedroom farmhouse located within 40 acres of olive groves and woodland in the idyllic Chianti region of Tuscany, 75 minutes from Florence and 40 minutes from Siena. Built in 1788, the property has been transformed into a charming holiday retreat while preserving its original Tuscan charm.

Accommodating up to ten guests, the property consists of three buildings: the Main house; a separate private suite called La Porcilaia; and the “games” barn.

In the Main house there are four bedrooms, four full baths, a living room with a large working fireplace, a fully-equipped cook’s kitchen, a dining room, TV room, library, and a loggia with beautiful views which is open-air in the warmer months. La Porcilaia, just across the courtyard from the Main house, has a large living room, bedroom, and full bath. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The beautiful grounds have many places to relax and to dine al fresco. Just outside the kitchen door, under a wisteria arbor overlooking the formal garden, is a lovely dining area. In the entry portico is a second protected dining area permitting al fresco meals in any weather.

A newly renovated stunning 15m x 5m travertine-tiled pool with two seating areas is sited in the former olive terraces below the house. Above the house is a seating terrace with stunning views overlooking Castagnoli and the countryside.

Within a 15 minute drive are a multitude of Chianti’s treasures: famous medieval villages, historic castles, and a wealth of world-renowned vineyards and Michelin starred restaurants.
